About the Seal Of Approval
The Consumer Advisory Council Seal is a highly recognized
statement of our renowned Consumer Protection Policy.
The Consumer Protection Policy states that the approved
business has demonstrated a record of prompt response to consumer
feedback and makes a good faith effort to resolve any complaints.
Who Can Use The Seal
Only businesses which have been approved by the Council
may display the Seal on their website. Every approved
business is subject to an application review process and
strict Council standards for consumer protection. The
Council Seal tells you that the business has met Consumer
Advisory Council standards for consumer protection, business
performance, and integrity.
Approval Criteria
While the full criteria used to determine acceptance is too
extensive to list, the business must:
- be owner operated
- offer services nationwide
- include full contact information on website
- have no complaints filed with Consumer Protection
The appearance of the Consumer Advisory Council Seal says that
the business is consumer oriented and worthy of your trust.
How To Apply
The application process is by invitation only. Invitations
are issued by referral from Council members or a currently
approved business.
